Product stewardship is the term used to describe the responsible and ethical management of a product, from invention through to ultimate use.
Our commitment to high standards of stewardship extends throughout the product lifecycle – from research and development to manufacture, use and disposal. The safety of everyone who handles our products is a priority for Syngenta.
We are committed to comply with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization’s Code of Conduct on the Distribution and Use of Pesticides. Syngenta is leading a joint initiative with the industry association Croplife to develop an online training module. The training will raise awareness of the Code among employees in the crop protection industry and help improve compliance.
